HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!!!

I'm 17 now, in case you're wondering. c: Goood, I do not feel all that much different (maybe a bit more matured? I dunno). This has definitely been a very productive and interesting last year though.

It's 12:30 so I'm gonna go to sleep, wake up tomorrow at 7, get ready, listen to Amy sing me Happy Birthday, go to work, eat some cake, finish work, go home, eat more cake, chill with Sierra and watch some dvds, then chill on msn or something.

I know, my life is so thrilling. (:

And to everyone who has wished me a happy birthday so far (whether by message or text or post on lj) I really, truly appreciate it. It's really a very comforting thing to know so many people remember this day (even though I forgot to tell most of them my birthday rofl, yet the still found out) and want to wish me a happy day. June is, pretty much, my favorite month. And that's not even because my birthday is this month (in 10 days--AKA June 11), but mostly because I just really love this month. For no reason really. Or maybe it's partially because I have a really sexy Yokoyama Yu in a suit on my wall right now.

Well anyway.

I figured a good way to start this month would be with a few pictures of what I did last month.

First comes Corey (my slutface Tego-nyan♥) and her ~*~MODEL PICS~*~. She came over near the end of the month to try on some clothing my aunt didn't want anymore. I put together most, if not all, of the outfits. LOL I have no fashion sense.

If you're wondering why the pics are blurry, it's because I don't have steady hands. They shake a lot, all the time. So yeah. Steadiness isn't my thing.

Next, my dear male friend Jarrod came over and decided to help Corey try on some of the dresses. At his request, I have covered his face. Though I do not think that will save what little dignity he may have, since I will never let him live this down.

The first dress he tried on was this really long purple one. He said he felt awkward in it so we gave him boobs.

After all the modeling was over and the pics were sent to friends (I had to hold Jarrod down on the floor while Corey sent the pics ♥), we got into a duct tape fight. Here's the outcome of that:

He put up a brave and worthy struggle, but, in the end, he was defeated. I got the duct tape wrapped around his ankle and he spent a few minutes in pain while removing it (and his leg hair). The wads of duct tape are still on my floor since I'm too lazy to clean my room.

Also, I've become slightly obsessed with dramas and movies as of late. As such, I've gained a few new loves. AND THEY AREN'T IN JE OHGODWHAT

Not really new. Ever since I saw him in Hana Kimi a while ago, I've been loving on him. He's cute and funny and loves Winnie the Pooh.

Yanagi Kotaro
He's in a band called D-boys apparently with Shirota Yuu. I saw him in a drama and melted a little inside.

Lovely #3:

Miura Haruma
His eyes are amazing. You might know him better as That Cute Gokusen Guy .

Lovely #4:

Fujiwara Tatsuya
He played Light in both live action movies of Death Note. Psychotic as he was, I found myself flailing over him. If you've seen Battle Royale (1 or 2) then you may know him as Nanahara Shuya. His acting. Is. AMAZING.

Lovely #5:

Kim (Hero) Jaejoong
Jae is in a Korean boyband (DBSK) and is easily the most beautiful man I've ever seen in my life. I know, I'm only 16 (near 17), but still. I've never felt more assured in saying that Jae is really the most beautiful man I've ever seen. Take it or leave it, I do not care. No matter how I've seen him (different hair styles and colors and even when he was young and looked somewhat like an awkward boy) he's always looked beautiful. Not pretty. BEAUTIFUL. And his eyes remind me of Subaru.

That's all for the lovely list for now. C: I'm sure it'll grow if I keep watching dramas though. Urgh, is my heart big enough for all this? Srsly.

Exams in English and Driver's Education tomorrow. I'm not all that worried, but it is making me a bit nervous. Only 3 days of school left. 3 days until summer (though I still have 2 novels I have to read, 2 essays to write, a senior project to plot, and a study packet about the US Constitution I have to do over the summer) and then my new job. A bit stressed, a bit worried, a bit sad that it's come so fast, but damn am I excited. I want to make this year the best one yet.

OKAY I LIED ABOUT NOT UPDATING SO SOON

Okay so this entry definitely turned out longer than I thought, but whatever. :|

Wow. Only 10 more days left of school. I can't believe it. It went by so freaking fast. I'll be a senior next year. MY LAST YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL. You'd think I'd be happy to be done, but really I just want to go to school for the rest of my life. I seriously love to learn, but hardly anyone I know seems to get that.

Senior year next year is gonna be a bitch. Seriously. I've got:
+ A job, like previously mentioned in other entries. I start June 7th this year I believe and it lasts until I graduate in May of 2009.
+ Peer mentoring programs and events. We help the incoming Freshman out and have to go to football games and such to support the school and help earn money. (We're a 'D' grade school and pretty much broke LOL)
+ Advanced classes. If I just said Honors or AP classes, then people may not get what I mean. They're typically college-level classes and I have like, 4 of them. Math, Government, Economics, and English. My other classes are things like Psychology, Sociology, Geography, and Digital Design 3 (where the teacher uses me as a Teacher's Aid)
+ Senior projects. I have no idea WHAT this is or what I have to do, but I know that if I don't do it or I don't do well then I can't graduate.
+ College hunting needs to be done as well. I still don't know what I want to do for the rest of my life, but I have a small idea. And speaking of future jobs, my dad actually confronted me about teaching on the car ride to school one morning. It was really nice, to be honest, since normally me and him don't talk much. That and even if I did tell him about JE he would probably forget it anyway. He has bad memory. But anyway, the conversation went something like this:

Dad: "Hey, you know how you like Japan, right?"
Me: ".....Yeah?"
Dad: "And you want to learn Japanese, right?"
Me: "....Yes?"
Dad: "Well why not go over there and teach them to speak English? Then you can learn Japanese too!"
Me: "........Are you serious? What happened to 'if you go out of the state then I'm following you'?!"
Dad: "Well, this I'd understand. Because you could make some good money like this! And we can always come visit you and you can show us around."
Me: "....what. I DON'T WANT TO TEACH. OH GOD I WOULD BE SO TERRIBLE OF A TEACHER SDKJGVB"
Dad: "Naaaah! The kids would love you! And you don't need to teach little kids or anything. Teach high schoolers!"
Me: "Dad. I am a high schooler. I KNOW WHAT WE'RE LIKE."
Dad: "But aren't they really polite in Japan?"
Me: "......"
Dad: "It's just something to think about."

Apparently teachers are in really high demand right now. Also, apparently, dad discovered this when he was job hunting on the web. He came across the 'English Language teacher' job thing and clicked it because he wanted to see if they had openings in Japan (he was thinking of me). They do, according to him. From what dad told me, they would be willing to pay for my schooling, the costs to get over there, and the costs of my apartment once in Japan. There are colleges in Florida that have a Japanese major too, so I could study there for a little while.

Sounds really cool and all, but I've never even left this state, let alone this country. And I'm so easily homesick. Plus there's all the years of schooling I'll need to go through to get this. Who knows for sure if I'll still be so in love with that country as I am now? So many people are wanting to do this too (a lot of my anime-friends want to do this but I can tell most of them won't make it) so I don't know if I'll even manage to snag a good job opportunity with this. And teachers don't really make a lot, right? I don't care much if I make oodles and oodles of money (though that would be nice) so long as I enjoy where I work and can keep living without struggling for cash.

TL;DR?

Summary: Dad says teach English in Japan for a living. Costs for housing, schooling, and trip over would be paid for. Question is: do I really want to try for this and could I make it?

MOVING AWAY FROM THE SCHOOL TOPIC AND ONTO THE FANDOM FLAILING

Last Friends: This drama is getting more and more heated. Sousuke is a seriously frightening man. He really seems pretty psychotic, and apparently his mind is pretty warped due to his past. This may seem odd, and people may be upset with me for saying this, but I kinda understand why Sousuke went DV. Just follow me on this for now, okay? His past is that after his dad died (or left or something) his mom remarried a lover and ran off, leaving Sousuke all alone. He was shuttled around from relative to relative for the longest time--all at a pretty young age. Then Michiru came in. From what I remember, they bonded over that loneliness and the only one to really understand what Sousuke felt was Michiru. He was with her for quite some time, and she was his world. Typically, throughout his unstable life, Michiru was really the only constant; she was the only thing that really didn't change or go away. And now, after this time, she's met up with Ruka. I think maybe Sousuke feels like he's losing the only stable thing he's ever really had. Please note though, THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT I CONDONE OR ENCOURAGE HIS ACTIONS. NOR DO I PITY HIM. WHAT HE IS DOING IS WRONG AND HE NEEDS SOME SERIOUS HELP AND/OR HE NEEDS TO BE REPORTED TO THE POLICE. I just want to understand why.

Hokaben: Honestly, I've only seen the first episode because I don't want to watch this without subs. :| Shige's fauxhawk doesn't help him get much of a professional feel imho, but later on when he shows up in glasses I was quite gleeful.

Osen: I'm not much of a cooking show fan (for some, watching food shows makes them hungry. when i watch food shows i get sleepy) but this looked pretty good and I've heard nice things about it so I decided to wait for subs. So far I've seen the first 3 episodes and let me just say, UCHI HAS SOME HILARIOUS EXPRESSIONS OKAY. It did kinda sting a little when his character got drunk in the 2nd episode and he stumbled around in a drunken stupor, but I get over things pretty fast so I wasn't too badly affected. Uchi's character is seriously shallow and I'd like to give him a swift kick to the you-know-where sometimes, but oh well. I still wish that someone would sub his old drama sp "TEAM" where he played a murderous psycho but wishes, wishes. :|

Gokusen3: smnvijbsdvuysdbvsd Okay let me just get this out of the way and say I have some pretty sick fetishes alright. Obviously, I adore schoolboy uniforms. Like. To the MAX. I love it. Another obvious, I love angsty things. So Gokusen has been a very lovely thing to me (I never saw the first one though ROFL I started out with Gokusen2 because of Akame) since it has HOT/CUTE GUYS IN SCHOOLBOY UNIFORMS GOING THROUGH ANGSTY SITUATIONS. In Gokusen2, you didn't go a single episode without someone crying/getting the shit kicked out of them. Gokusen3 is definitely following that trend and I'm so damn spaztastic about it ;w; I can't help it. (or I can, but I don't really want to) So far, there hasn't been an episode without someone getting beaten up. But then again, this is to be expected from a troublesome senior class with attitudes who like to fight a lot.
I seriously want me some Ren/Yamato. SERIOUSLY. NO LIE. RIGHT NOW.

Kimi wa Petto: Okay, this isn't a new drama, but I just watched it a little while ago and it made me love Matsumoto Jun okay. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH JUUUNNN SO CUTE WTF PUPPY OMG SO CUTE LNSFAKISFNSJVNSKDB PUUUPPPPPYYY

Hana Yori Dango 1 & 2: Again, not new dramas, but I watched these a while ago too. Another two dramas with Jun, but this time he plays a very snarky and cocky rich boy. I'm not sure how much I cried watching these dramas but god. Seeing men cry always sets me off and then I can't stop and adjkgvbskvsdv DOOOMMMYYOOOUJII ♥ RUUUUUUIIIIII

I found the subs for the first few episodes of Utahime (Tacchon drama) so I may watch that, but not sure yet. Also found subs for eps 1 to 3 of Isshun no Kaze ni Nare (Ryouchi drama) and watched those. ksbdfkjsbvsdv I want the final ep subbed so bad ;___;

Anyone got any drama recommendations? I'm willing to explore ♥

Not much has been happening in the fandom lately. Kanjani8 has Janiben and the concerts, NEWS is doing....I'm not sure. Probably promo stuff for SUMMERTIME or something. I'm not really too in to KAT-TUN or any other JE group so I'm not sure what's going on in THAT direction. HSJ is kinda eh, though I do check things every once in a while with them. And the only thing that KmF2 really has going on is Shounen Club. So, typically, nothing much is happening.

So, unfortunately, on one bored night while talking with flufy_umbreon she managed to get me onto a DBSK spree. I have NO IDEA what possessed me to do this (okay that's kind of a lie, cause after you read Jae's past and you get over the fact that it is TRUE you kinda get emotionally attached) but, as of now: I can tell them apart, I've seen all their mini-dramas, I know some of the inside jokes in the fandom about the band, I've seen them on various shows (including Japanese ones like HEY!HEY!HEY!), and I have about 7 of their PVs on my computer.

I've never denied that Kim (Hero) Jaejoong is an incredibly sexy/gorgeous/amazing man (yes, hard to believe, he is a MAN) but I have denied my liking of a certain duck-butt dolphin (ALA Junsu). I seriously do NOT want to get in this fandom because, wtf, I'll totally sink. Uuuugh, if something doesn't happen in this fandom soon I may end up watching more DBSK things. uchikins and rivium7fold are definitely NOT helping me in keeping out of the fandom *glare*

Honestly this entry was really just to prolong my homework ._. I have to read ~*~THE GREAT GATSBY~*~ and do 3 projects on it. Due tomorrow. Oh, and I'm on chapter 2 of the book by the way.

Well, it's been a pretty damn long time since I've updated here. And I've got no excuse for it. xD Except that I've had nothing worth saying. Now I do though so I shall speak.

I decided to do the bad first so that I won't end on a sad note :D

The Bad:

- I broke my good pair of glasses and the other pair I have are too small so I haven't been wearing them lately. My eyes hurt, but if I wear the old glasses then my head hurts. Gonna get them fixed hopefully soon.

- My bed is partially broken. I've had such bad back pain for the past couple weeks because of it. I've tried flipped the mattress over and such but no luck so far. Ibuprofen helps me out though.

- We're having a few money troubles as of late, haha. Mom and dad have been running their own cleaning business for almost a year or so now and business has gotten too slow. They had to close their business and get different jobs. For now, mom and dad are working in the back of the Target stores doing inventory. It didn't really register that it was really true until mom came in the other night to let me know she was leaving for work. I saw her in the work uniform and my heart kinda sunk a little. She'd been so proud of owning her own business (even if it was just cleaning. SHE owned it). My brother is finally getting a job though so there's your silver lining here.

- Papaw (my grandpa) who has been living with us is having a bit of trouble getting by. His kidneys are starting to go all to shit (which is, of course, bad). He's nearly blind now too. He flat out told us all in the living room the other night that he will not stay in the hospital and will go when his kidneys do, which is probably soon. He said at least he would be back with Mamaw again. Good side to everything, I suppose.

- My brother is even more irritating than usual. He comes into my room and screws everything up and throws crap at me and likes tormenting me when he's bored. Just recently he was smacking me with a towel and wielding it like a whip. The other day he was making giant wads of blue duct tape and pegging them at me and around my room. He takes me crap and breaks my stuff, but I guess I'll deal. I just didn't know he was so freaking immature. He's nearly 20 for fuck's sake.

The Good:

+ Last week I got called down to the front office at school during 3rd period. Thought I was in trouble but it turns out that my Digital Design teacher recommended me to the lady up there looking for someone who may want to work in the front office. I went for the interview--looking pretty spiffy in my butterfly clothes, might I add.
The outfit makes me think of OhYass because it's a really nice shade of blue (the Yasu part) and Ohkura has a song called 'Butterfly I loved' and both the shirt and the pants have butterflies on them (The Ohkura part).
She said she was really impressed and would tell me if I got the job sometime in the next week. Got called down to the office again today and they told me I got the job :D Sadly, I wasn't expecting it today so I wasn't dressed too spiffy. Just a plain gray T-shirt with the words 'This is the shirt I wear when I don't care' on it and some old jeans ROFL I'm not sure when I start work but she said it would start in the summer and continue on until I graduate.

+ I've been doing better in math and science kinda. Not really talking grade-wise, but more along the lines of I'm getting better at talking to people. In science now I'm kinda lippy (rofl oops) because I hate the class and the kids there are all smartasses so it's either sit there and take it or dish it back. I chose the latter option and now I'm at the point where I'm in playful verbal battles with most of them and this one kid is my stress relief (meaning I smack him around). It's rather fun. Also, there is a kid in the class who has a Ryo-smile (the large creepy psycho one) and hair similar to Ohkura's. He's hot and doesn't mind that I stare at him. ♥ Nice guy.
Math is getting better because the jock who sits behind me is nice and isn't just some sports fanatic. He likes reading Jodi Picoult books so me and him had a nice chat about her books and he listened to some of my music (LOL) and looked at my little K8 planner that came with the calendar (LOLx2 because he asked if Yasu is gay).

+ My Shop photos came in the mail today :DDD BaruRyo (Eito and handhold), YasuRyo, and OhRyo (TORN PERF SHOTS, OH YES). Had to pick it up from the post office and pray that mom didn't ask to see them. She does that from time to time, just to show that she's partially interested. xD She knows about Ryo.

+ Last Friends is really making a good impact from what I've seen of people's impressions so far. I'm glad that most are not making the mistake of thinking of Sousuke as Ryo and hating on Ryo. Ryo =/= Sousuke. End of story. Moving on.

+ Had some hilarious conversations with Tocchan and Miyan the other day. CAPSLOCK CHATS ONLY FOR THE WIN ♥

+ RYO IS HOT. SUBARU IS AMAZING. UCHI IN OSEN MADE ME LOL BIG TIME. I'M STILL HYPER ABOUT THE SHOP PHOTOS. AMY IS A MEAN PERSON WHO LIKES SPAMMING ME WITH LINKS TO THINGS I DIDN'T WANT TO SEE BUT DID SEE AND I CRIED AND LAUGHED AND LOVED AND I DIDN'T WANT TO WTH AMY YOU'RE SO MEAN TO ME.

An actual serious mindfuckery fic. With Kanjani, preferably. I don't know. I'm weird and twisted and psycho I guess, but god I want to. I can't really describe things that well though and my writing needs a lot of work, so I haven't even tried to attempt this yet. No matter how much I want to. Grammar kicks my ass and my brain can wrap around ideas easily enough, but has trouble producing some of its own.

do you have trouble taking criticism? or worse yet, do you have the dreaded bloated ego?
You caught me. Me ego is larger than all of the Eastern hemisphere combined!!!1!! ...No, but seriously. I have no ego and very little self-esteem. I want criticism though otherwise I'll never get better and I'll never know what I'm doing wrong. I want to learn from my mistakes, not keep reliving them.

when you write, is there anything that helps? music? quiet room?
It depends sometimes. Music usually helps most of the time. Actually, just any background noise helps me. I don't very much like silence most of the time, so when it gets really quiet it sounds too loud to me. Again, yeah, I'm weird but whatever.

what inspires you?
I dunno. I get small little fits of inspiration sometimes and think "THIS IS AWESOME! LET'S DO THIS!!!" but after a while it really fades. That's why when I get an idea, I have to write it. Even if it comes out a complete mess. If I don't take advantage of the small little creative bursts then I mostly regret it later when I'm back to feeling blah. I'm not too sure what inspires me though. It just depends.

lastly, how would you sum up your fanfiction experiences and yourself as a writer?
Hm. Well, my fanfiction experiences have let me meet a few close friends and broaden my mind. A lot of times I find myself reading something and thinking "Oh! That's so cool, it fits perfectly!!" And it actually comes in handy later on in life. As for myself as a writer, uh, not very good to be honest. I write because I enjoy it. Sometimes I manage to strike something in me that lets me write something creative or witty or semi-great, but most times it's just mediocre fanwork. I want to get better though. I want to be so much better. If I can somehow make someone feel happier with my fics, or if I can create a memory, then it's all worth it in the end.

I'm in computer class and the teacher is stupid again LOL :/ She tells me a bunch of easy instructions on what she wants done and when I actually finish it all a couple minutes later she looks at me funny. Does she not expect me to do my work or sth? >_>

That aside, it's been a little while since my last entry and instead of spending this one ranting or sth I think I'll spend it flailing and fangirling. Just listened to the new NEWS song 'Summertime' and it's soooo cute x_X Seriously. Nevermind that it's not summer. When it is I will be sure to blast this song through my house and not care that my family will want to strangle me for it.

Last Friends drama is really getting good (nevermind that I don't know what's being said). Ryo really is a good actor, you know. It's just so oddly amazing to see him acting all charming when in front of people then get all possessive-abusive with the girl when they're alone. I can't wait for the subs.

Well, the period's almost over and I have to log out now. Till I arrive home, sirs! ♥

So not much has been happening lately other than the usual spaz from Kanjani8. Last Friends came out the other night and was uploaded today. Spazzed over the cute Ryo with Masami at the beginning and when it came to the DV portion I totally froze. Like. Holy shit. I'm not sure what to say about it other than that scene honestly did scare me a bit. I think that Ryo's character in this drama isn't going to mean to be an abusive dick (considering he dropped to his knees by her and held her and cried and said he was sorry) but no conclusive evidence yet.

Seriously a great song and the video is very awesomely done.

On another note, I got rid of my old icons (except a few) and replaced them with new ones I made last night. Actually quite pleased with how they came out. :D

On a bad note, my mom's friend's kids are trying to get in my room and play with me. I'm seriously scared of kids, man ;__; And my brother just picked the lock on my door to try to let them in and I spent the past 15 minutes holding the door shut.

P.S. I want me some Ohkura/Subaru and I have no idea why. And of course no one writes this pairing WRRRYYY *facewall*

It's been storming all day. I'm seriously so happy about it. I love the rain. I love storms. I love watching them.

I changed into an old outfit of mine and sat out in the rain for about an hour.
I'm cold and still damp and might get sick, but it was so worth it.

Rain always gives me this feeling of calmess and peace. It's a kind of sad/fond tranquility really. Just what I've really needed after what happened last night.

With all the lights off and my blinds open, I've been going through my day by the soft light outside and the fall of the rain on my windowsill.

I seriously love the rain so much. ♥

For the longest time now I've been unable to view .gif files on websites. It never moved, just showed me the first frame of it. Today, for some reason, my computer suddenly started working and the gifs on pages loaded. Also, it let me view pictures that previously never loaded.
